Sophie Rain

Project Assistent, PhD Student

I am a PhD student at FORSYTE and I am supervised by Laura Kovács. I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Technical Mathematics from TU Wien. My studies of math taught me to be precise and use an unambiguous and gap free notation in proofs.  In several Computer Science classes and also on my term abroad I learned that developing an interesting theoretic concept is nice but it is even more fun to automate. Thus, working on First-Order reasoning for automated theorem proving is a perfect fit for me.

So far, I have been mainly working on aggregates in First-Order logic in collaboration with Tel Aviv University. The aim is to verify certain properties of Smart Contracts.
